Life and Nothing More
For almost fifteen years, Isabelle Vaillant has produced photographs deeply rooted to her own personal life experiences. When looking at her images, recurrent themes develop like childhood, isolation and solitude amongst others. Each photo is emotionally charged and reveals an artist interested in the quiet introspection of human nature. She enjoys mixing reality and fiction through slow shutter speed effects and staged photography. Vaillant offers a unique visual poetic language that deeply touches every one of us. Her work evokes compassion, humility and respect.
